What is Hyaluronic Acid?
Hyaluronic Acid, or hyaluronan, is a substance naturally produced by the human body. The most concentrated amount of the disaccharide polymer is found in the body's skin, eyes, and connective tissue. The primary function of Hyaluronic Acid is to keep tissues lubricated and help your body retain water. Hyaluronic Acid has a long history of being implemented in products throughout the cosmetic industry, but can also be taken as a supplement without the need for cosmetics. In addition to assisting skin appearance, Hyaluronic Acid may also assist in the wound recovery process.

How Does Hyaluronic Acid Work?
Hyaluronic Acid's primary mechanic is to act as a buffer and lubricant in both joints and tissues throughout the body. As a glycosaminoglycan, Hyaluronic Acid uses polysaccharides to help support the connective tissues of the body. The disaccharide polymer is capable of binding up to 1000 times its weight in water, allowing it to act as a humectant. This mechanic allows Hyaluronic Acid to hold water molecules onto the skin's surface, which keeps it hydrated.

Suggested Use:
As a dietary supplement, take 2 leveled scoops (~100 mg). Taken twice daily, preferably with meals or as directed by a qualified health professional.
