Complete UT Health Benefits & Uses May Include:

  • Supports Healthy Urinary Tract Function †
  • Prophylactic against UTI reinfection †
  • Support Healthy Immune System Response †

Vitamin C: Vitamin C or Ascorbic Acid is a water-soluble essential vitamin, also known as Vitamin C. It is well known for its potential immune defense assistance by supporting cellular functions in the immune system. It is also a prevalent dietary supplement due to its antioxidant properties. Antioxidants are molecules that may also assist the immune system.†

Vitamin B6: Vitamin B6, or pyridoxine, is responsible for turning food into energy for the body to use. This water-soluble vitamin is not created by the body and needs to be obtained through diet or supplementation. In addition, vitamin B6 helps decrease the amino acid homocysteine, preventing oxidative stress and improving cognition and alertness.

D-Mannose: D-Mannose is a type of sugar that occurs naturally in some plants in starch and is mainly found in cranberries. It is very similar to glucose in structure. The human body cannot metabolize large quantities of this sugar, and much of it excretes through urination. D-Mannose has a unique cell structure that allows it to adhere to undesirable foreign substances, which prevents them from sticking to the bladder's lining. It has been shown to support a healthy urinary tract in men and women.†

Cranberry 4:1 Extract: Cranberry is widely often used for its antioxidant properties in addition to its known ability to assist with urinary tract health. Cranberry extract contains compounds called proanthocyanidins, which may help prevent the introduction of E. coli to the urinary tract and bladder. Preventing bacteria from sticking to the lining of the urethra and bladder prevents the multiplication of the bacteria that would cause infection. In addition to proanthocyanidins content, cranberries also have high antioxidant content that prevents damage caused by free radicals.

Uva Ursi Extract: UvaUrsi is a common OTC remedy for assisting urinary tract health. Uva ursi is an herbal extract derived from the leaves of the Arctostaphylos uva ursi plant, also known as bearberry. The leaves of the bearberry plant have been used in traditional Native American medicine as a diuretic. The active compound in uva ursi responsible for promoting urinary tract health is arbutin. Arbutin, when metabolized, is then converted to hydroquinone, which then travels through the kidneys and into the urinary tract.

Dandelion Extract:
For centuries, dandelions have been used in various traditional medicines to promote urinary tract health. Dandelion extract contains multiple vitamins and minerals responsible for promoting urinary tract health and promoting general health. In addition, the dandelion extract's antioxidant properties, specifically beta carotene, are primarily responsible for removing free radicals from the body that would otherwise cause inflammation.

How Does Harvest Naturals Complete UT Health Work?

D-Mannose works by sticking to E. Coli bacteria in the urinary tract and removing it from the body through urination, commonly used as a preventative measure for urinary tract infections. E. Coli is responsible for 90% of all UTI's, making D-Mannose an integral supplement for those that suffer from chronic UTI's. [1] In addition to the above, a published clinical study shows that mannose is prophylactic against reinfections. [2]

Vitamin C is not stored in the body and must be replenished continuously from food or supplementation. Some foods high in Vitamin C include broccoli, orange juice, red, green, or yellow peppers, strawberries, and tomatoes. It is believed that the antioxidant properties of Vitamin C are one of its most significant benefits. Antioxidants play an essential role in preventing damage to important cellular components caused by reactive oxygen, such as free radicals and peroxides. Vitamin C is also necessary for collagen production (a structural protein in connective tissue) and essential for skin, bone, and joint health. Vitamin C is a requirement for amino acid metabolism and the utilization of many nutrients such as Folic Acid and iron.†

The vitamin is an integral part of the skin's defense system, as it is transported to the skin, helping to reinforce its barriers and acts as an antioxidant.
